Ministry of tribal affairs partners with MORD to promote rural sustainable livelihood in India

  1. MOTA has signed joint communication with ministry of Rural Development to promote rural sustainable livelihood.
  2. Both ministries will promote rural sustainable livelihood opportunities among tribal women Self Help Groups under National Rural Livelihood Mission.
  3. The role of Ministry of Rural Development is to  identify and map the tribal women SHG members including their individual livelihood assets.
  4. The role of Ministry of Tribal Affairs(MOTA) is to offer a planning support to SRLM to finalize the State Annual Action Plan and include the same in its Livelihood Annual Action Plan.
  5. The main aim of ministries is to support the efforts of each other, such as the initiatives of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and objectives of DAY-NRLM deeply complement each other.

  1. Keith Rowley taken a swear as a Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago for a 2nd consecutive 5-year term.
  2. PNM won 22 of the 41 electoral seats, while the opposition United National Congress (UNC) led by former prime minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar won 19 seats.
